Hi,

I had a faulty card so getting a new one.

What do you reckon is the best of these?

EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Superclocked 2048MB

Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 7850 OC Windforce 2X 2048MB

I think the GTX but just want to be sure...

Thanks in advance.

The 660 is a little faster at stock, though the 7850 will on average be more likely to overclock further. Do you have a decent cpu to match either card, and a quality power supply unit?

I'd say the HIS 7850 on the OCUK megabundle deal would be your best option, same price as the Gigabyte, but those 8 games could fetch a decent amount (or have them to play of course) :)

The 660 is the better card but the 7850 with the bundle is better value. Never rely on overclocking, if you can overclock it is a bonus.

Yeah I am pleased with the CPU although I will probably have to do something about the power supply at some point:

Intel 3rd Generation Core i5-3570K CPU
XFX 550w psu

They should be up to it shouldn't they?

Both will be fine.

Yeah absolutely fine, my friend is using a 7870 with a CX 430. And of course a 3570k is ideal :)
