Would be going into Asrock 939 dual sata with opty 146. Rest of spec as in sig.

Thanks

HZ PC4000, its what im looking at for the same board/cpu combo, seen some pretty impressive overclocking figures for it.

have posted in the asrock mobo thread to see if anyone is using it but not had any responses yet, i'll be getting mine end of the month if its still in stock and a decent price.

just read this thread which seems to indicate that memory that will run at 220-230fsb but with lower timings ie 7-3-3-2 is better than 8-3-3-3 at 260fsb, thought i'd let u know so u can have a read, and maybe ask any questions.

Q: Should I get the HZ on this week only and sell my current 1GB GeIL One BH5 chips? Help!!! I do indeed play games and do video encoding if that's any use... tempting as they are on offer...

smids, if u're going bf2/fear i'd say yes, after reading the thread i posted earlier u may be better with the Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS2 (MY-079-CS) as the timings are better and its £166 is at the mo.

just depends on whether other people agree with the tests done in the thread and if other people have got the same results.

Hmm, I was thinking HZ because though they are rated for loose timings, that is at 250Mhz - which I'm sure would just drop to the ZX timings. I just don't know :(. I run at FSB 250Mhz currently. Problem is, DFI and Corsair don't go well together.
