Got a week or so before I'm gonna order a new contract, my requirements are: about 200-250 mins a month max and up to 100 texts. Just been through my last 6 months worth of bills with 3, and only once have I used over 200 mins, mostly between 100-150, and I've not gone over 100 texts at all.

I want a phone that has bluetooth and isn't a total brick. A half decennt camera on it would be nice as my digital camera recently broke but not that important. Would rather not do a vodaphone deal as I've been with them before and didn't like them, plus all their deals appear to come without texts inclusive and I can't be bothered to mess around with addons. I also want a free xbox 360!

Been trying to weigh up between the following deals and wanted someone with experience of the phones to either bosh or recommend them?

Samsung D600 on Orange - 18 month contract, 200mins/75 texts £30/month, phone cost £44.99

Sony W800i on Orange same contract as above phone cost £79.99

Motorola V3i on O2 either contracts here:

Which of those do you think is the best deal? There's loads of other phone out there on similar deals on that website but having had a brief look at them all these 3 mobiles have caught my attention the best so if there's something else I should be looking at please let me know! Cheers for any help :)

Edit: Forgot to add, not bothered about video playback or mp3s etc, got an iriver and I rarely use that so not fussed on the mobile.

Best deal is a bit subjective really.
How much do you care about what the phone does?
Camera wise the Samsung D600 and SE W800i are about equal with a 2 megapixel camera (although the w800i has auto focus and I don't think the D600 does), while the v3i trails behind them slightly with a 1.3 megapixel camera.
Features wise the w800i relies on the fact it comes with a 512mb memory stick and walkman facilities but if you're not going to use it for mp3s, it's not really a big deal.

Then it comes down to which you prefer the look of, I'd recommend going into a phone shop and messing around with them to see what you prefer as they're all different, the D600 is a slide phone, v3i is a flip phone and a w800i is just how it looks.

Personally, looking at the prices I'd say it's between the D600 and the v3i, depending on how important the camera quality is.
Although if it was up to me I'd go for the D600 out of those two because I hate motorola menus.

Thanks for your reply :)
Giving it a little more thought, a camera is more important than I'd first thought, cos if I can get a phone that takes decent enough pictures and has a reasonable amount of memory to store them on then I'll use it as a stop-gap until I'm feeling saucy enough to splash out on a new camera, so that will rule out the V3i for me. Also had numerous flipphones and while I do enjoy the satisfying feeling of hanging up on annoying cold calls with a thunk I'm bored of them breaking too easily! Gotta say though my current phoe is motorola and I'm used to the menus now so they're not a problem.

Not had either a samsung or a Sony Ericson before but played about with my mate's K750 at work tonight and found it ok so think I'll stump up the extra £35 and go with the W800 over the D600 unless I'm missing something that makes the D600 better at all.

Go for it :) I've got a w800i and I love it. Found it really simple to use too as I've always been used to Nokia phones till I started working with them.
Camera's good quality and video recording quality is pretty good too although I've not used it many times.
