Hi Everyone,

I just went on SamKnows.com and it said I have these ISP's available in my area, what do you think would be the best choice?? I was gonna bo with BT, but have read the Home Hub thing is a bit ropey and to be honest I'd rather not use wireless..

BT Wholesale ADSL
BT Wholesale ADSL Max
BT Wholesale SDSL
Be LLU
Bulldog LLU
Easynet LLU
Homechoice LLU
Orange LLU (Formerly Wanadoo)

Any advice would be great.

Cheers

Ricky

Can't really recommend one to you, but all i can say is for the love of god don't touch PlusNet or any affiliates with a bargepole. They're idea of customer support (in my experience) may as well be a hanging.

You'd be crazy to go with a BT-provisioned ADSL service when you have all those LLU providers available. I would say Be also.

Do not go with BE. They really suck in every aspect.

Their customer service is none existant. Their connection is unstable most of the time. You don't get anywhere near the speeds they advertise.

I was expecting around 10- 13mb download at a minimum, but I only get 7.1, which is around the same as I was getting with Bulldog for a heck of allot less money. Not to mention Bulldog could actually provide a stable service that didn't drop connection every other hour.

I honestly have nothing good to say about BE at all, and if you check out their forums, not many other people do either. I'd say go with Bulldog or Pipex.

I can't say i have had any of the problems you are talking about.

Customer service is good in my opinion, the phone line is 24 hours, free and whenever i have called the wait time has been under 5mins.

My connection is also very stable and has been since day one.
