looking at a new mouse, mine is getting on a bit and has taken a beating over the years.

liking the look of these mice so far:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Corsair Vengeance M95 Performance MMO/RTS Laser Gaming Mouse - Arctic White £69.95
1 x Corsair Vengeance M65 Laser Gaming Mouse - White (CH-9000023-EU) £54.95
1 x Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T.5 5600 DPI Gaming Mouse - Red £49.99
Total : £184.49 (includes shipping : £8.00).

anyone have experience with any of them?

mainly wanted for fps gaming (cod, battlefield), liking the M65 the best, but prepared to go for any of them.

Thanks :)

I have the M65, its brilliant, nice weight to it, smooth, grest for long sessions. The included software is top grade!

Highly reconmend it, 9/10! It would be a 10 if they let you chose the led color. But thats the only gripe I have.

The sniper button is good, 200dpi works well for me, the dpi is overkill for me however, I have mine set to 400 (infantry), 800 (armour) and when I am in the heli it is 950. Never tried anything higher.

Get it, you wont regret it!

I own and use a rat 3 and rat 7, both are fantastic mice for gaming, very comfortable and well tracking, on the 5 and up the laser sensor is a bit finicky with dust and will have issues if you don't keep the surface and mouse clean, all of the rat mice are also not as accurate for small movements but still fantastic for gaming *shrugs*.

Get a rat if your ONLY gaming and you don't mind cleaning, otherwise i'd go for the m65 out of those.

Currently got the rat-3 and not really impressed with it. To me, it feels cheap (to be fair, it is a £30 mouse), it stops responding now and again, and the software doesn't alter any settings i choose. it is quite a comfortable mouse though despite taking some getting used to. I was considering the 5 to give them another chance (maybe i got one that slipped through QC, who knows).

the few people i game with who use razer mice/keyboards say they weren't too impressed with them, so i never really gave them a consideration.

That thermaltake mouse looks pretty nice, wonder when OC are getting more stock in.

currently looking at the M65 and the Thermaltake, ill see what they have in stock come friday.

Thanks guys :)

Can second going with the M65/M95 currently using a M95 in black.

Originally bought a M90 however ran into a few scroll wheel issues the mouse would scroll down non stop. However a quick message to corsair support they arranged a UPS pickup the next day and covered the charge both ways.

Opening the package they sent back I ended up with the M95 so a slight upgrade from the M90.

Build of the mouse is rock solid and the quick programs buttons on the left side are great although not quite used for the MMO gaming they are designed for mapping weapons or photoshop tools to them works a treat.

So rock solid build and performing mouse with customer service you can fall back on can't complain great mouse.

As with some others here I dont have the rat 5 (or any of the other mice), but I do have the rat 7 and have been using it for about 2 years now, maybe a little more, quite impressed with it,m and other than a driver issue or two when going from vista to windows 7 I've also had no issues with it, just my 2 cents.

works great in Windows 8, although if you profile itr you have to manually load it when restarting windows

Thanks andrew - but my issue was mainly just getting the bloody mouse installed, its been a while but I remember it just being a pain getting it recgonised etc, alls working now, and has been for a while and my profiles load up etc, without trying to hi-jack the.thread - what profiles do you use? I have one profile with the thumb wheel as a Volume up/down and a second profile with the thumb wheel as a windows key+tab key

Just a quick thought I know u sorted it now but was it plugged into a USB 2 port or USB 3?
Ive had that issue before and when plugged into USB 2 it solved it

I had one of the default starcraft profiles but found I had to manually load it, done bother with them now, but I do love the mouse ugly but Super comfortable to use on long periods

Ayw I'm pretty sure it was a usb 3.0 problem, and with my board not comming with and 2.0 I.had to use.the supplied pci card with 2 usb 2.0 ports, anyways I somehow got the mouse working in a 3.0 port, not sure how :-?

i think the nxzt phantom cases have 2 usb ports on the top, you just plug it into the header on the board (i have the Nzxt 630)

Pain having the ports at the top though

They do, ive the 2nd revision so Ivw 1 2.0 and 1 3.0 - thought the more 3.0 ports the better :-/ I.know - dont have to tell me now lol

I am using a Corsair M65, since re-installing Windows 8 about 4 weeks ago I have not installed the software and it's working fine, sniper button is good on BF4 for slowing things down when aiming.
