Hi,
I want to order a new monitor tommorow, I'm on a budget and am stuck between two.

The 1st is the

OcUK Value Hanns-G HW191D 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Silver (MO-017-OK)
for
Price: £111.99 (£131.59 Including VAT at 17.5%)

the second is the

Belinea 1925S1W 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black/Silver (MO-005-BE)
for
Price: £111.99 (£131.59 Including VAT at 17.5%)

Being the same price I see the Belinea has better specs and speakers (which I don't plan on using), so which would be the better buy?

Thanks a lot.

I've already ordered the Hanns-G for £130 delivered from a competitor and it is due to arrive tomorrow - can't wait! Better have 0 dead pixels or  ;)

I'll let you know my thoughts tomorrow but coming from a 15" TFT that was £150 three years ago with 25ms delay, it won't take much to impress me.

I think what you really need to ask yourself is whether you'd rather have a better constrast ratio or the ability to use DVI?

I won't need the higher contrast ratio so i'll be going with the Hanns G. Both seem to be very nice monitors :)

under what circumstances might a higher contrast ratio be useful....

cheers :)

Yeah, I want to make a decision soon lmao.
I don't think I will use DVI so I'm leaning towards the Belinea.

Cheers.
