Which oil for mx-5

Apparently my sister has never had the oil changed in her mx-5 so I said I would do it. It's about 3 years old.

Seeing as there are loads of mx-5 owners on here I thought I'd ask. What oil should I use? Any semi synthetic 10W-40? Blueprint filter from local factors? Any idea how much I'll need?

Mazda Original Filter + Wash = £4.59 from mazda dealer, don't fit a cheap one!

I use Either 0-30 or 10-40 all depending, either will do.

Castrol Edge btw.
