Which one between these two?

After 2 fiascos with Corsair PSUs, I'm going back to Seasonic and have narrowed down two choices:

Energy Plus 650W and M12 700 Modular

Has anyone experience with the M12? I'm slightly worried about the 60mm extra fan at the back once turned on can't be shutdown! Was looking at silentpcreview.com and the E+ is one of the quietest PSUs on the market, the M12 is "just" slightly noisier so I'm thinking spending another tenner to get the M12.

Am I making the right choice? Going to order tonight!

both great PSU's I would probably go for the energy plus as its a true 80 plus psu

I've just looked again and the M12 is also 80+ Certified like the E+

look for the modu82+ and pro82+

they are touted to be the quietest around (silent PC Review agree on that)

and are very very reliable

The Corsair HX's are actually rebranded Seasonic M12's (but without the extra 60mm fan)

I know but I'm going to stick with Seasonic, no more Corsair (even though the HX620 is made by Seasonic) or any other brands because they tend to turn out a big disappointment.

Think I have better luck with Seasonic than Corsair, they're made by Seasonic doesn't mean that they're identical!

I have decided to go for the M12 700W.
