Sometimes life isn't fair.
I never take money for fixing computers but some nice person has just dropped this lot off :)

However, its not as unfair as friday night.
I gigged at a Beer Festival in Cheadle and when we got there we were told all ale was free for the band :(
The two roadies and bass player (because he had a lift) got plastered.

Simple rule

Start with light and work your way up to heavys

Old speckled hen > Badger > Spitfire > Hobgolblin > Bishops finger

Not sure where the else should go..

Old speckled, Badger , spitfire. Very very nice.

Not to fond of hobgoblin and Bishops finger is ok but not great.

That is my order - 4.4 up to 5.4.

What I found funny friday night was my band went into the hall to set up and came out laughing.
I asked what was up and they said there were people in there ticking off beers with scorecards.
It was at that point I realised they'd never been to a Beer Festival.
When the organiser asked what type of ale they wanted I told him that they had only ever drunk John Smiths, Boddingtons etc so he might as well bring the worst he'd got.

 spitfires awesome..

Had a special edition Spitfire glass up to a couple of days back. Bloody thing dropped of the kitchen counter in slow motion before shattering into a myriad of pieces.

That's fine, you're southern :)

I've had it out of a bottle a couple of times, and paid stupid amounts for a couple of pints in pubs when I've been to London.

Just didn't compare to Yorkshire beer :p

Do that but start with the Bishops Finger and work that way. Then buy some more Old Speckled Hen 'cos that stuff is nice. :)

Is Jennings Yorkshire? That's a lovely pint..

Think that's up in Cumbria. Had a pint of that myself last week, it's quite smooth and tasty :)

Ever had Black Sheep?

Yeah Jennings is Cumbria.

Personally, I can't wait for Christmas to come around. That means I can try to get some Whim's Black Christmas in. A truly amazing ale.
