i have 2 set of questions to ask, 1st is to OcUK:
i am going on holiday to Scotland, going to drive there, from a village near Bristol. so i will be going pass OcUK's outlet. (btw, im a first time OcUK shopper)
-can i buy over the counter?
-how do i make sure the stuff i want in still in stock? are internet stock counts accurate?
-and finally, how are the deliveries counted? is it by size or by weight or by number of item?

the second set of questions are for everyone, our dear forumers:
im going to build:
*q6600 (already got heat sink) with
*Arctic Silver 5 Thermal compound
*either 2gig of GeiL 800Mhz or GSkill PK 800Mhz
*8800GTS 320MB
*WD SE16 500GB HDD
*Samsung DVD RW SATA
*haven't decided on PSU yet
*Antec p182 case + a 120mm fan as recommended in the "best fan?" thread
*LG L226WTQ 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor
*Logitech Deluxe Keyboard (mouse already got, a 1000dpi logitech)

-which component is least likely to drop in price in the next 2-3 month?
-which one will be likely to cost the most for delivery?

any other comments and recommendations are also welcome. :p

I can't answer all your questions; but I think that the monitor would cost the most to post, and yes you can go straight to the shop and pick things up in person.

Not sure how OCUK calculate delivery costs, but the case is going to be pretty hefty too. If they charge by weight, it would be an idea to collect that if possible :)

Well CityLink charge on weight not No of parcles and if i recall (dependant on the contract) its the same price for up to 30kg/s.

You can go into the shop and buy over the counter yes, I am pretty sure the internet count is accurate for stock and OCuK use a computer system to get stuff from the warehouse to the front desk.

From looking at that spec the things I would expect to drop in price is the 8800GTS and possibly the hard drive with the introduction of 1TB hard drives. Also the CPU may drop a little bit I hope :), As I am thinking of picking a quad core up at Christmas time :D.

thanks everyone.

ok, i shall make a stop and pick up the case (p182) + the monitor on my way back from holiday :D

btw, is it possible to order online + pay and not collect for 2 weeks? (or do i have to phone them up)
