Apart from the basic stock speed of both, can anyone tell me the difference between the E6420 & the E6600 (and don't say price!), coz apart from a few MHz (which can obviously be O/Ced), they appear on the surface to be very similar!!
I would appreciate some input please! Thanks.
 
OK, thanks for the link, interesting reading. So, let's say that Intel were not reducing prices this month, and the stock speeds apart (2.13 & 2.4GHz), surely the best VFM must be the E6420 as at the moment theres about £45 difference, or is it worth waiting to see how much the E6600 will come down (as I heard it was going to be 29.1% - which would make the E6600 about the same as the E6420 now!!).
I'm still undecided which one to buy. All help and guidance welcome. Thanks.
