Which one would you choose?

Hi I'm planning on building a new rig by next Friday and was planning on using the
G.Skill RipJawsZ 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17000C9 2133MHz Dual/Quad Channel Kit (F3-17000CL9Q-16GBZH)

But I'm really liking the look of these as well
Samsung Green 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz 30nm Dual Channel Kit (MV-3V4G3D/US) **WEEKEND SPECIAL**

I'd get two sets of the Samsung to meet my memory requirements, but my question is how would these two sets compare and which would you choose?

Hello again, hopefully some other people will add their opinion but I'd go for the Samsung.

Overclocking Features (Not Guaranteed)
- 1600MHz (7-8-8-24 1N) @ 1.40v
- 1866MHz (9-9-9-27 1N) @ 1.40v
- 2000MHz (9-10-10-28 1N) @ 1.45v
- 2133MHz (10-10-10-28 1N) @ 1.45v
- 2400MHz (11-11-11-28 2N) @ 1.50v

CAS Latency: 9-11-10-28 2N
Capacity: 16GB (4GBx4)
Speed: DDR3-2133 (PC3-17000)
Test Voltage: 1.6V

So, the Samsung should use less volts at the same speed, with very similar timings :)

the samsung is loads cheaper and at 1N it should be faster than the ripjawz at 2n, plus being normal profile you won't have rubbish fitment issues with CPU coolers

Considering your uses and the performance/price of that Samsung kit then I would have to give that kit my vote.

It is also low-profile - so you have the freedom to use and large tower CPU cooler (which cost less, cool as well as and run quieter than a captive liquid cooler).

kINGSTONG 2X4 IS WAY better than both of them! more eco company so you dont have as much blood no your hands

What do you mean by eco? Surely the samsung modules are more eco as they have a lower voltage requirement and therefore use less power?

Also I'm not sure you can directly relate eco-friendliness to less blood on someone's hands....

Samsung is made by fox con men... which treats humans as logs of timber... Have a google "foxconn human abuse"...

It aint pretty.

"Activists claim factory staff worked up to 12-hour days for nearly two weeks at a time, in the six months before the launch of Apple’s best selling iPad."

One worker told SACOM: “We produced the first generation iPad. We were busy throughout a 6-month period and had to work on Sundays. We only had a rest day every 13 days. And there was no overtime premium for weekends. Working for 12 hours a day really made me exhausted.”

I am thinking of boycotting intel as much as possible and even getting and amd cpu if i find good one enough to replace i2500k...

But have chosen kingstong as opposed to samsung that deals with fox con.

You must have very strong feelings on the matter to choose AMD over Intel.

You may have to change you signature, there's not much "kick ass" about AMD's current processor line up.
