I got the k800i the other day and cant fault it yet. Best phone i've had.

got a nokia n80. Nice ideas, but poor implementation imo.
pros for me:
-web browser is very slick
-keypad is nice
-call quality is good
-screen is very high quality, crystal clear and bright
cons for me:
-battery life is terrible (i get 1 day if i'm lucky, but i'm a fairly heavy user, 30mins phone calls, 30mins 3g/gprs/wifi, plus generaly texting and checking)
-build quality is not great - mine broke in under a month. In general doesn't feel that well put together, especially compared to my previous SE phones.
-os is slow, compared to my old p910i.
-crashes fairly often for no reason, had this on both n80's i've had.
overall, i'm switching back to SE as soon as the p990i arrives. N80 to me feels like it needed a bit more development before being released.

Battery life on pdas isn't that bad because you can recieve calls with the phone switched off so theres no need to be in stand by all the time which gives pdas a much much better stand by time than normal phones, plus you get the advantage that pdas take less than a second to switch on and become useable. Also you can get triple capacity batteries.
With windows mobile 5 there loads of advantages over other phone os, such as unlimited file support you can play back virtually any type of audio and video file and not be limited to mp3 and aac. Plus there are lots of decent games like age of empires and worms with nice graphics and you can install loads of useful applications. And you've got a nice big decent res screen for viewing videos/tv, pictures, games and browsing the internet.
The htc hermes is a very nice new pda phone with all the usual features like, wifi , 3g, bluetooth, 2mp camera.
