Which one?

Before anyone says why don't you upgrade to something better this PC is only for a 11 year old and only needs it for basic things

Though I will have a budget of about £100 nothing higher.

I am only looking for a motherboard & processor for the moment I can't make my mind up on how much RAM to put in yet because I have a few Geil PC6400 Ultra spare. I will also be going with onboard graphics to save some money.

1st system

Asrock ConRoe 1333-D667

Abit LG-95C

With the Intel E2140 processor.

or go AMD

Gigabyte GA-M61SME-S2 AM2

Asus M2A VM

With the AMD 4200 AM2

Which Motherboard & Processor combo would be the best option?

By the way I will need some replies before tomorrow because I will be buying this tomorrow...thanks for any help.

Personally i would say the 1st system spec and if it was underperforming just clock it a little.

You mean the Asrock motherboard? because theres 2 motherboards there m8.

I would go for the 1st setup with the Abit mobo and E2140.

The mobo's look very similar Abit is is better brand I reckon.

Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Im currently building a cheap 2nd rig, I went for a Foxconn P4M9007MB-8Rs2H
and a E2140 can get that combo for about £80

Yes any combo from those will cost me around the £80 mark.
