Had a p35c, switched to a p5q pro ages ago. The p5ql might be p43 rather than p35 but that gigabyte board limits what it can do. Iirc the fsb of the p43 is lower than the p35, but the 8 phase power and ddr 1600 options of the p5ql are just, well, it's a far better made board. The gigabyte chipset can oc better, but the vdroop and limited settings don't do it any favours.
You can get a pro/deluxe for 40-45 second hand, so provided you don't over pay it, there's no contest.
