About to hit the order button next week, but having some issues deciding which I should go for, they're almost the same except for a few key differences, my purpose for this laptop is going to be work (windows sys admin), mobile lab (currently prepping for 2012 exams), and gaming (D3 mainly)
Clevo W110ER - 11.6" 1366x768 - 1.8Kg
i7 3610QM
16GB RAM
120Gb SSD
1Tb USB 3
GeForce 650M 2Gb
~4hr battery life in UMA
Clevo W350ET - 15.6" 1920x1080 - 2.8Kg
i7 3610QM
24Gb RAM
120Gb SSD x2
750Gb HD (int)
GeForce 660M 2Gb
~6hr battery life in UMA
I like the 15.6 as it gives me the ability to have more storage and more RAM, and the ability to have 2xSSD so I can have one for work and one for personal\lab work. The added graphical grunt is a bonus too.
The 11.6" is awesome as it's a mini powerhouse, and weighs a kg less than the 15.6", the lack of FHD display is a slight downer, but I could live with it.
What I have now is a Dell 3350, which weighs in at a slightly hefty 2.19Kg (especially because it's only 13.3") so the weight difference on my back shouldn't be all that noticeable with the 15.6", and the 11.6" should be light as anything in comparison. The price difference is only £65 after I bolster the initial spec I get it with (RAM for the 15.6" and RAM+1Tb for the 11.6")
If you were in my shoes, which way would you lean? As currently I am right in the middle with pros and cons not swaying me either way, as one day I want the 11.6" just purely because the size and power in the compact form, the next the 15.6" for the slight extra grunt in RAM and expandability!
