which one ?

Hello, I was looking into getting a fx6300, but after looking at the 4300,4350,4100 I don't know which one is best..

Things I do on thencomp are hd movies, large mkv files and a few games, all on a 42" plasma tv.

So the question is which one is best, looking at the benchmarks there is only around 5% diffrence between them and are all roughly the same price.

Any help would be great

Oh. I will be wanting to overclock it aswell, I'm looking to get a h80 Todo that with.

Higher clock speed quad core v 6 core lower clock speed but if your going to overclock then i would go for the 6300.

Iv heard fx chips like to get hot, how far do you reckon I could take it with a h80 ?

The FX-6300 can normally do at least 4.2GHz, it can often get to 5GHz. Overclocked the 6300s can give amazing performance for the money.

I'd be happy with 4.2 and over the moon with 5 but I don't think id take it that far, I don't want to stress is too much
