morning guys I am about to buy a pair of gaming headsets and have picked two which I would like some views on.
hyperx cloud11 gaming headset
roccat kave xtd 5.1 digital
I know they differ in price,and I dont have a sound card so will be using the usb.thanks for your time

hi guys I went for the hyperx in the end and it arrived this morning.this is going to sound pretty stupid but is there any setting I need to adjust in windows 7 prem,reason I ask is no sound is coming through the headsets ?

sorted how thick can I get, I still had my speakers plugged in,with my old headset that just plugged in with the usb and it played even with the speakers plugged in.

You should be able to leave your speakers plugged into the motherboard audio and leave the Clouds plugged into the USB and just switch between them using the Windows Playback Device manager, which can be found by right clicking the speaker icon in right side of the task bar.
