Hello there
i'm jus lookin for a bit advice really, more peace of mind than anything else.
below is the rig am in the process of putting together. the thing is am not familiar with the processor i've already got. it came from another machine which wasn;t that old. although its' not a BE one, there are some who claim to have oc'ed theres to 2.7-2.8. am jus wonderin if its actually worth investin in a new CPU or not? it would be nice to have everything new but £169.99 is a lot coming upto holiday season.
CPU: AMD Phenom 9550 x4 (from another machine but possibly upgrading to a 940be soon)
RAM: 2x2gb OCZ Gold DDR2 (1066mhz)
MoBo: Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4 AMD 790X
Gfx: Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 1024MB
HDD: 2x320GB
Case: Antec 300
Cooling: Standard case fan's x2, CPU & Gfx after-market coolers
