Ok. Ive read about all the new clients that have just come out and confused on what i need to download to fold.

I have windows XP 32 bit with sp3, I need a SMP client to fold on my Q6600 and a client for my 8800 GTX. Which ones Do I need?

Go here and download either of the first two GPU clients and the second WinSMP client. I've only tried the console version of the GPU client and that gave me no trouble at all to get going.
 
Cheers. I Just wondered which one, but doesnt matter then.

I downloaded:

Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008 SMP client console version 6.22 beta2 for MPICH (32-bit or 64-bit)

It says 0% etc.. .like it should be folding but isnt stressing my cpu, any ideas?

Read the instructions on the download page - you need to run it with the -smp flag otherwise it just downloads a standard WU which is what it's done.
 
Have you added -smp? As Snapshot said, without it the client will behave like a non-SMP client and only use one of your cores.
