Which online army surplus store?

Just looking to pick up a few bits cheap and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good army surplus store that does stuff in decent condition, an online that delivers quickly. There seem to be loads of them and I don't know which to go for.

I only knew of one that was next to the hippy green and that closed out a while back. Never found any others.

There is one opposite the old fire station on Pilgrim Street.

Search for 'The Outdoor'. They get their stuff directly from the Ministry of Defence.

I also used to work for the owner of the company

though not on that side of the business

Well that company also supply to hundreds of other army surplus shops across the country. Army surplus generally comes from...the army.

Prices seem OK. They make a heavy clawback through the £10 delivery charge though! :eek:

I think he was implying that UK Army Kit is a bit poo, which is a hideous generalisation some is brilliant some is poo.

ive used www.silvermans.co.uk a fair bit, usually been pretty damn fast on the delivery front.
