Lovefilm/Blockbuster. Have used screenselect before. Usually good turnaround although their priority system imo isnt as good as Lovefilm. Blockbuster fastest turnaround but few priority films received.

I use lovefilm. £12.99 for 2 discs at a time. I have had brilliant service from them for about 6 months now.

Tesco seem to be the cheapest at £11.47 for 2 discs. I was tempted to go with them, but Lovefilm have been really good, and i cant see changing being worth that couple of quid.

quick edit.

Have used Screenselect and Blockbuster before too, and neither of them seemed to pick as many items from the upper part of your list as lovefilm do. Blockbuster were fast at turnaround, and their envelopes appeared a little better quality than the others.

Then get me some more free rentals then. :D
Will plug them all day long if you do.

Unfortuntately it doesn't work that way! :(

We do get 40% discount from the DVD/CD/GAMES part of the company though (not called LoveFilm)

Another vote for lovefilm, been with them for over a year and all I can say is they are fantastic. Even had a few problems with the postie stealing a few but Lovefilm were very good at sorting it out quickly.

So with Lovefilm I can rent 2 films at a time, so if I rent two films, taking two nights to watch them, I wonder how many I can rent in one month?

Taking into account postage times, 2 - 3 days? So, I guess I "could" get to rent 2 films per week, 2 x 4 on average = 8 films a month for £12.99.

£12.99 x 12 = £155.88. 96 films a year if I do rent 2 per week, and no postage charge. Hmm.. considering it. But I'm not sure if I can rent this many, as I do tend to buy DVD's as well.....

Lovefilm have a fair use policy so they will slow them down if you are getting too many.

Yep, thought so.. Might not bother actually. Looks a lot of hassle, and in my mind unlimited is unlimted... Not - oh well you have taken too many this month, we'll cap you.. Not really unlimted...

£12.99 can buy a few DVD's a month if you shop around.. ;)

Thats my opinion but they keep offering me 2 or 3 months for the price of 1 so I think it only right to accept their kind offer. It would be rude not too. I always cancel after the free offer. I keep blockbuster going as they are fast and have no limits.

Lovefilm has a fair useage policy? I'll stay away then...

I've been using screenselect and am very happy with it - fast turn arounds and tend to get the disks I want at the top (perhaps I just have wierd tastes?). As far as I know/hope screenselect don't have a fair use policy.

the local cinema has a £10 a month offer. I think it has now gone up, thought about it, but for me and the gf it was £20 a month, have to get once a week to make it pay. didn't bother.

I sometimes think these schemes are a bit of a lottery. You can gain, but only if you are a power user of the product..

Might just stick with buying cheapo DVD's from online retailers TBH. If you look around good DVD's to be had for less then you'd think...

I cancelled lovefilm re the fair use policy. When I joined they did not have one, when I questioned them they said they did not have one and then suddenly they said they did. The only reason I asked was because my films were taking 7 days to come out to me whereas they used to be far faster at turnaround. They recently offered me 3 months for £10 or something.

I am currently with Blockbuster - been with them about 1 year now, pretty good.

I am also using gamefrenzy - so far so good 2nd month.
