Which OS For 4K ?

Got myself a 4K monitor arriving next week and was wondering which OS has better support for it ?

Windows 7 or 8 ?

By this I mean scaling etc....

windows 3.1

or probably 8, its the newest one and should therefore have more support. But it'l be display drivers regulating this sort of thing wont it?

Both will be fine, 8.1 make's more sense and the start screen would look great at 4k.

I wonder what 3.1 looks like at 4k, it would hurt so bad... lol

Both should be ok with it. I have seen reports of some users complaining about 8/8.1 with scaling, not sure how true though complaints are however.
