which OS ?

I want to buy a Titan Nero from the shop but cannot decide what OS is the best to go for? What would be the best choice for this pc?

For a new machine I would go with Windows 7, for your machine the "Nero" the 64-Bit edition will be the one to get. I've got it installed right now and it's very fast indeed, been testing it all day and not ran into any issues.

OcUK are offering Windows 7 upgrade vouchers, so just go with what ever version of Vista suits you right now and then upgrade to Windows 7 when it's available in October.

I installed Windows 7 64-bit on my friend's Titan Nero and it works perfectly.

I only had to get graphics card drivers, everything else worked perfectly fine out of the box.

I'd pre-order Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and use the RC (if it's still obtainable) until release day. Cheaper than buying Vista + voucher.
