go for the x800 gto because it has gddr3 ram which is better than the ddr2 on the x1600.

Out of those two the x800 GTO 256mb, the x1600 pro is a terrible card.

Out of those two the X800 is a fair bit quicker - what is your budget though?
Could you stretch to a 7600GT for £130 as this is quicker than both cards and offers great value for money?
