Hi folks,

Just bought a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme from OcUK, along with some Arctic Silver 5. However, I noticed that Thermalright bundled some paste with the cooler and according to some reviews I've seen it seems to be OK stuff and easy to apply. So which should I use? The bundled grease or the AS5?

OK, AS5 it is then. Just out of interest, how up-to-date are their instructions for applying the stuff? The info from their website talks about dual-core P4's - I assume for a C2D I follow the same guide? Or would you advise I apply it some other way? Some folks seem to think applying a little to both the CPU and the bottom of the cooler copper block and spreading it out with a razor blade or edge of a credit card is a good way to do it....

Another vote for AS5. Think you'll get great results from this cooler - I am certainly impressed, not cheap tho - but worth it.
