Which PCI internet card?

Hi, basically i am in need of a pci card to get on the net, just not sure what to go for..

Im on Blueyonder Broadband (now virgin). Just not sure what PCI card to get. Im not sure if to get a 54mbps or a 100+mbps?

We currently have a router on the main pc. In the past ive had a laptop with the internet thing built in, so it just read my router. Now i need a card which will go into my new pc which will read my router.

Has your new PC not got a network point built into it. Only PC's older than my grandma would'nt have a network port on them.

A network point? What is this? What component would this be under? The motherboard?

The router is in a different room though.. its going to be wireless.

Ah, i missed that sorry. I have a netgear router. They okay?

Yea they are fine, as i said the only thing you may be interested in is buying a wireless pci card which encorporates rangemax if your router supports it, if not then just get a normal 54mbps (G) card.

1. How can i find out if it supports rangemax
2. Why 54mbps why not 100+?
3. Whats (G) ?
