Hi all

looking at changing my current case to a Phanteks one but stuck between 2...

Phanteks P300 & Phanteks P400... If anybody could point out the differences and also list any pros and cons that would be much appreciated..

my specs:

Gigabyte MATX B450
BeQuiet PSU
2x 120gb SSD's

I will add maybe a 1TB HDD in coming months and will definitely be buying a AIO as at the moment I have 2 intake fans and 1 exhaust fan

cheers

if you have a matx board, why not go for a smaller matx case.

but to answer your question directly - i'd probably go for the p350x instead tbh

What case would you recommend for MATX... I do like the P350X with the lighting it looks great

yeah I think the Fractal or the p350x is going to be the choice tbh... Im guessing the Fractal case has mesh on the front sides to let air in

The P8 looks the better out of those ones IMO... I think im going to go for the P350X as it looks great with the RGB effect... Thanks for all the input :)

I am considering the 110 myself but cannot make my mind up, i take it from your comment that you would recommend this at 78 quid?

for £78 id choose something else tbh... That's my opinion though, It depends what you want from your case

Any recommendations, or why would you not recommend it at this price? Genuinely interested :)

nothing against the case its probably a great case and a good price... Just personal preference tbh, I see there are NZXT cases around that price and I know what they're like to work with inside the case and looks great... Also I really like the Phanteks p350x at £65.. RGB bits if that's your thing and looks great.. My other Phanteks cases ive had have been brilliant quality

Ahh cheers. I have an NZXT case at the moment but it's ancient so it really needs replacing and it was all I could afford at the time so I bought a cheapo one. Im not actually fussed about RGB, it was more the tempered glass side panel and the other ones I looked at by phanteks didnt have them, although Ill have a look at the 350x.

I had the S340 with the smaller window but now they do the full window it looks mint... Every pc I build has to have a side window tempered glass I think it really shows off the build but you need to make sure cable management is on point :p

The antec p110 is better than any phateks case that's under £100. The build quality on phanteks drops significantly on the sub £100 models of course that's just my opinion too :D

I had the Phanteks Evolv ITX and must say the quality on that was pretty damn good for a £70 case at the time...

Ahh screw it Im just going with a Fractal Meshify C with tempered glass panel and be done with it, I overthink things too much!

We all over think and end up buying to many cases :p ive only had my current case around 2 months and already looking at a new one :p
