which photo album software?

Hi guys,

My bro is looking for some software for arranging all his digital photos.

He needs the following:

- read photo exif data
- ability to tag photos
- easy organisation into albums
- quick and easy access to photos via tag search

I did a quick search but found nothing on here.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Personally i use an app called ACDSee Photo Manager, currently using the latest version, which is v9.0... It's a great app and does all the things your asking, plus loads more, including touching up of photos, and some simple editing of the images etc...

Heres a link to the official website, you can have a read about it and even download a trial version (only 24mb), after which, you can then purchase a license off them for $39.99... I'm sure there are many places in the UK where you can also purchuse this software...

Nobody but if he is planning on getting Vista i think it cpmes with a very good Photo Gallery.

Be careful who looks at your PC.... Acdsee has a nasty habit of retaining thumbs after you delete....
