Which position should I keep my 360 SLIM in?

Should I keep it upright, or let it lie on its side. Since there are vents on the bottom and on the top would it be best to have it on its side? Then again hot air rises so, well you get the point.

i would say flat because of the fact if you move the xbox it will destroy a disk. More stable when flat.
