which post production service?

I shoot weddings and all of a sudden i have taken on allot of work and getting some great feedback but wont have the time to constantly keep editing.

I need some input on post production services.

I have heard http://shootdotedit.com/ and http://www.mylavalu.com/ are supposed to be pretty good so any thoughts or any suggestions on companies out there!

IMO, shoot less weddings!

I would think it would be hard to maintain any kind of consistency between sets and people are likely paying for a particular look and style. AFAIK these services just delete out of focus or wrongly exposed photos, mod some generic presets and have a quick 20 second check in LR to correct WB/eosure. No cropping, no framing, no critical selection, no toning. You should be able to that yourself.

If you don't have time to edit then don't take on more work.
I thought I would try event photography but it started eating up my free time and I just didn't deem it worthwhile. That is the issue with the weeknd wedding warrior - your limited free time in Evenings and weekends is lost to earn pocket money. I'm now much more selective.

The other thing is to make sure work require minimal editing and develop plenty of presets. Get the framing right in camera, be selective before even pressing the trigger, focus on quality of quantity.

If people are paying for your work then surely you should have complete control over each and every shot? Use Lightroom and presets to more quickly develop sets of exposures, as you should find that you take series of photos that are reasonable similar due to whatever setting you are shooting at the time.

If you are taking on too much and are feeling like this then this isn't a good sign for maintaining consistent quality. Maybe hire a poor design student as an assistant? :)
