which power supply ?

Hi, i need a new power supply for my second pc which is as speced as follows:

athlon xp 3200+
asus a7n8x-e deluxe
1gb of value ram
2x 120gb maxtor ide hard drives#
agp geforce 6600gt

the current one is a ******** 550w which didnt cost very much but the fan is always on 100% and is very noisy !!

im willing to sacrafice some wattage in place of a quieter/better quality psu, as im sure that setup doesnt require all of it !

im looking to spend under £40, the cheaper the better !

I agree with Michael, a nice 400W would be ideal for your system. Those akasa's are suppose to be very quiet too

Yep, i used to have a 460w Akasa running my main rig and it worked flawlessly. It's now running in another pc in the house without a problem. It fits your budget and is a great choice.
