Hi guys.
Managed to get myself a MK5 GTI, picking up Saturday all being well.
My previous/current car (until Saturday) has very bad lacquer peel so I just took it down to the garage and gave it a quick wash every time. The new car is shadow blue and appears to be very well looked after so I want to carry this on. Which products do you use to clean your car? I did look at a snow foam kit but looking at the reviews on youtube it does very little compared to just power washing it first before doing a touch clean (sponge/bucket). I would get snow foam if the car was 2017/2018 but it is a 55 plate so im not sure its really necessary as it has little effect? In my mind I was going to pre wash (power wash rinse) it with just water then shampoo touch wash and dry and then wax it.
Should waxing be done after every wash? Which detailing products is everyone using?
