which program for 470?

i got the gtx470 soc edition. it comes with OC Guru on the disk but i was wondering if i could use any other programs to monitor the card and overclock it a little more if i wanted to. which would work and which is the best to get?

That should work fine, I put try as you may not like the looks of it or the usability compared with OC Guru which come with your card.

shall i get afterburner 2.0.0 Final ? there is a 2.1.0 beta but maybe i should leave that?

Afterburner looks cool

i actually never installed or tryed OC Guru because i read that a lot of improvemnts had been made to it which had me thinking it wasent very good to start with. So id rather learn and get used to the best program to use

Afterburner does great for my 5850. Dunno if you'll need to do the same with your GPU, but I had to edit the cfg file manually to 'enable unofficial overclocking' in order to get the frequency sliders to go up high enough to push my card to the limit.
