Which PS3 bundle?

I`m thinking about getting a PS3 later today (waiting on exam results). Which would be the better purchase out of the inFamous or Killzone 2 bundles?

Also i`m going to get a second controller, 2 BR films and another game.

What other game would be the must have and what films are best for showing off BR visuals?

Am on the verge of buying one today too. Seems that I have run out of games on 360 that I actually want to play. Though I know I really hsouldn't spend the money

I would say get the infamous bundle as Killzone 2 should be cheaper and then get Killzone 2 as your other game.

Movie-wise I would suggest King Kong if you like it - absolutely brilliant picture.

Personally I'd go for the Infamous bundle, there's also a great website that ranks Blu Ray movies in terms of quality but I can't find the link at the mo - I'm sure RP2000 posted it in the past. I'll try and dig it up as it's quite a handy link.

What are the choices available?

The Dark Knight is a fantastic example of bluray, but I don't know if you'd be able to get it as part of a bundle.

I know when I got my PS3, I had a choice of Spiderman 3 or Speed, + Casino Royal.

You can get Battlefield Bad Company well cheap (£14 new), no point sacrificing the blu-rays if they are new releases.

I'd go with the Infamous pack simply because the game is newer, then get Killzone 2 on the side. Make sure you get MGS4 and Uncharted Drake's Fortune as well.

Best I have seen online (and I have not looked hard!!) is 280 for the inFamous pack or 290 for a PS3 with KZ2 and a HDMI cable free + 1 other game for an extra tenner. so for £300 you will have 80GB PS3 KZ2 plus 1 other listed game and HDMI cable.

There are so many of these buy 2 for £20 etc deals on Blu-Rays these days that I would get those separate from the PS3.

If your buying the console in store and you go for a deal that says '+ 1 of from these selected games' usually if you speak to the assistant they'll allow you to choose any game from the same price range and not just from the 3-4 they show.

I`m guessing you can't link to that deal? Is it a major company?

*edit* found inFamous with GTA4 or FIFA09 for £310 which isn't bad

Also do all PS3s come with HDMI out? Also do they come with the HDMI cable as standard?

Yup all have HDMI out, no they dont come with the cable unless stated in the deal, you can pick up the cable for pennies online though.

Major web store is all I can get away with saying, I suspect.

Just seen that a normal 80GB is £260 online elsewhere on its own.

Think i`m gonna go with the infamous pack and just pick up a second game. Just realised that for £310 I could save £5 if i got GTA4 seperately.

Ordered. PS3 with infamous, GTA4, extra controller, HDMI cable, Transformers BR and Batman Begins BR. Came in at £367 total. Not bad I thought.

Thanks for the help! Hopefully play some of you guys when I get games that are slightly more multiplayer!
