Which ps3 game

Got a ps3 for xmas... broke on the first day!! lol got it replaced and is all fine now. So... would like another game... i have, pes2008, assassins creed, guitar hero and the simpsons game.. can anyone recomend another game preferably fps?
COD4 or UT3.

FPS? Well either COD4 or UT3 (import only) are good/great games , but i would also bring Resistance Fall of man into the equation. You will prob get it quite cheap now, about the £20 mark, and although not perfect its a very good fps (unless your nokkon
) and the online mulitplayer is great. Upto 40 players online on dedicated servers= near enough lag free frag fests. I also enjoyed the single player game, it has also a Co-op (not online though) mode and also acheivements to unlock. Still one of my Fav PS3 games, with frequent DLC for extra maps etc, its well worth getting IMO.

Did you play the game to the end? As I must say RFOM is quite boring for the first hour or so, Which is my only criticism. But when it gets good, It gets good, and is definitely worthy of experiencing, and extremely worthy of mention in the FPS front.

I got to play on a PS3 for the first time last weekend and the only game we played was R:FOM multiplayer. Lots of fun!Very tempted to get a PS3 now based just on that experience. I know everyone moans about the controller but I quite enjoyed the light weight.
the 360 controller is in another league compared to the PS3 "controller" (cheap plastic piece of tat that's uncomfortable to use)

depends which of the ps3 controllers your talking about
DS3 is not cheap plastic or tat, uncomfortable for some maybe, not for others.

R:FOM is an excellent in game, both SP & MP. The single player gets a lot better the further you get into it, and at 12-16 hours from start to finish + lag free MP it's a worthy purchase
Nokkon just doesn't like it, probably because it's not stamped with MS's seal of approval

Hehe, let's not go down that road! I have a 360 and love it but I have money burning a hole in my pocket.
Anyhow, back to the topic at hand. Uncharted looks a-m-a-z-i-n-g! Can't wait for GT5 either, but Prologue will do for the moment

Well as you already have a 360 then Resistance certainly doesn't compare to some of the FPS's on the 360. Yes Uncharted is superb (best game I've played on any platform) just wish it never ended. GT5P is also excellent although I'd say you would need a wheel or at least the DS3 to truly enjoy it as the six axis controller makes it feel some what flat.
