Which PS4 should I purchase ?

Hi. Had a ps3. (Original) for some years now.

Couple of my friends down south have a PS4 and play GT on line. That car racing game.

So thinking of getting one. But there is quite a few different versions out there.

Which one should I purchase?

Also. Am I correct in thinking that compared to the ps3. You now have to pay as well just to play on line? That’s a bit bad I think. Never did in all my years with a ps3

What tv do you have and what is your budget?

It's either a PS4 or a PS4 PRO.

Which PS4 should I buy?
Can you afford a Pro? If yes, buy a pro. If no, continue
Can you afford a new Slim? If Yes, purchase a Slim. If no, continue
Take a look on Ebay and the like for a 2nd hand PS4

With the ability to use external HD's now, internal capacity shouldn't matter. The Pro is aimed at those with UHD and/or HDR capable TV's, however there are also boosts even in 1080p resolutions, many games have been patched for an enhanced Pro experience.

Budget = I dont mind really.

I have a Panasonic plasma 37”. Some 8 years old now. But works fine.

I just bought a Slim, around £200 from Tesco.
Looking at around £100 more for the Pro.
