Antec TruePower Trio 650W
Antec NeoHE 550W Modular
Seasonic S12 600W Silent
Tagan TG600-U25 600W
Akasa Ultra Quiet 650W Power+ iQ Active PFC

Im getting one with this following setup

Antec P180
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS4
Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale overclocked
Zalman CNPS9500-AT Aero Flower
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency
ATI X1900XT 512mb overclocked
Creative x-fi extreme music
3/4 Sata hdd's
1 dvd rw
floppy drive
and about 5/6 fans (whatever the p180 supports)

I wont go enermax, as the one i have now (EG565AX-VE(G) FMA 535w i thinks causing my games the stutter (see post)

i did look at that one too, Corsair HX 620W but wasnt sure becuase 1 - corsair havnt been making psu's long, and it says its ATX2.2

after seeing its actually seasonic, i might go for it. Thanx man this looks like the one for me :)

The PSU may be new from Corsair but they designed it with a "no bs approach" (the guy that made it and tested the corsair hx series posts on sa forums)

You won't find a bad review or user review about either Corsair model :) This is guaranteed!

5 years warranty too.

iv decided to go for the akasa eclipse instead, and yeah i think the akasa is all aluminium

i think the asus p180 is half aluminium and half something else. I prefere the akasa because of its easy to get in, plus you can get a side window for it.

the corsair will turn up tuesday, thanx for suggesting it, i still havnt found 1 bad comment about it :) nice 1

The ANTEC P180 chassis itself is made from aluminium, but the panels and top are made of a composite plastic, just with thin aluminium inlayed onto either side.

Its a heavy case, weighs in at just over 14kg

The Corsair PSUs are basically Seasonics that are rebranded, Yellowbeard on these forums is from Corsair I believe so he might be able to tell you more about them or just do a quick search on Corsair. :)

When I was looking for a PSU for my P180, I looked for one which had the fan at the rear, as opposed to in the bottom. The seasonic I think has a fan at the bottom. A fan at the rear should be the best for the P180, due to the PSU location. In the end I settled on the Antec 550HE, partly for that reason. Secondly the P180 needs relatively long cables and Antec has made sure that their components fit.

However there are other standard choices for this cabinet. If I remember correctly, Enermax may be one of them ;)
The corsair has gotten extremely good reviews, but it came out after I made my purchase.

Already got the info mate :D therapy on SA forums designed the HX series and tested them against the current top stuff (which he said were not really top stuff at all during testing) - They may be built internally by seasonic but it's made to higher spec than the s12 whilst having m12 features minus the extra noise and has lower cost.

I could link the thread but it contains lots of swearing...lol

A PSU would not have fixed your stutter issue in the first place though! BF2 is well known for it's many bugs across the board.
