Which PSU for my rig ?

At the moment i have a generic 400w PSU powering my rig, info in my sig, i get the feeling its not enough, can anyone suggest a good modular one please

oh my god, do not play any games until you get a new PSU. you'll blow the PSU and that will kill the rest of the computer when it dies.

until i know the budget i cant recommend much though

Given that it's a Q6600 rig I wouldn't overspend on the PSU. Get something branded that'll outlast the rest of the components, but without the intent to use it in any other rig, because you'd be more likely to replace the whole rig than go crossfire.

this will be perfect then:

its powerful enough to cope with a second card if you decide to go crossfire

I've not had a great experience when it comes to XFX PSUs, Bought one, RMA'd it because of how loud it was and now plan on RMAing my second due to how loud it is.
