I plan to run

1x ati 290 ( non x version)

In system currently

1x i5 3760k
1x HDD
1x SSSD Samsung evo

running in a Zalman Z11 Case which has 5 fans.

Which of these would be best for gaming and OC'ing

1) Seasonic G series 750w '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply @ £100

2) EVGA SuperNova G2 750W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply @ £90

3) SuperFlower Leadex GOLD 650W Fully Modular "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black @ £90

4) SuperFlower Golden Green HX 750W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black @ £100

5) Silverstone Strider Gold Series - 750 Watt (SST-ST75F-GS) @ £100

I was edging towards the EVGA but its not in stock so am now leaning towards the Seasonic G 750

What do you guys think

Thank you for your input

I've just ordered the EVGA G2 750W, the 10 year warranty bit was the deciding factor, that and I have never had an issue with EVGA's GPU's.

All of them are great choices.

The EVGA PSU is made by Superflower, so they'll be little difference between those 3, apart from one not being modular.

The seasonic and Silverstone are great units too.

The EVGA's 10-year warranty is enticing.. Worth looking up, see if its too good to be true.

I have the Seasonic and it's a cracking psu but that EVGA with it's 10 year warranty cannot be ignored and is probably where i would put my money if buying now.

Yep. I thought the EVGA was the right choice. I didnt even know it had a 10 year warranty till you guys said so. Pity they are not in stock here. Is there any way of getting a stock alert email from OCers?

thanks

If the EVGA is not available, what would be your second choice? I have the 290 sitting in its box and im dying to try it so will probably go for the 2nd choice as the evga is out for a while.
I think the seasonic would be best, do you agree?
