Which PSU? Opinions please

If you are concerned about silence the NZXT Hale90 550w beats the be quiet running at 16dB and is gold certified. Can't remember if OCUK still stock it tho, if they dont then they should inc the 650w 750w 850w and 1000w version.

your only saying this now after realizing from my link that they are both from the same source, I see you have edited in the same link into your previous post but the time stamp doesn't lie:D

Stop talking before you embarrass yourself any further.

Please, don't recommend PSU's to anybody if you don't really understand them. And FYI I did not edit the link in, the edit was the bit I said at the end about the Corsair CX units.

The crap ocz

Proof please. :)

They're almost twice the price, although the NZXT's are good there's better options for those price brackets.

I've noticed various people answering questions with further questions when they're unable to answer, it's getting old, fast. :)

Read that review I linked to and you'll find you were 100% wrong about the OCZ PSU being 'crap'. Again, don't recommend PSU's if you don't understand them. You could potentially damage someones system. :)

Not sure how that Be Quiet unit is 'subpar' I just translated a German review that says it's quiet and 81% efficient at it's maximum rated power.

Efficiency is probably one of the least most important things when it comes to the performance of a PSU.

I know, some people don't really understand anything:)

What, are you going to tell me I'm a "noob" now?

no need, your doing a fine job yourself:D :D :D

Thanks for all the replies, an interesting read lol

I think the be quiet seems to give me what i want/need.
8pin 12v for the MB (and i plan on putting a phenom X6 in this MB later)
as i said i dont need any PCI-E (yet) but that might change in 12 months time) but certainly will not need 2 of them

the 16db rating is awesome, i used to own an Akasa Paxpower which gave 18db and that was almost silent :)
I am usnure of my current PSU`s rating but it isnt exactly loud anyway (it appears to be the generic OCUK value 450w (under another brand name)

If i order one Today will it be here for Monday?

*EDIT*
Ordered it just now.

Thanks everyone for your input!!! :D :D
