Thanks, would you guys say that is a good PSU, Im not very familiar with the brands etc because i havent really built anything myself before. Would this be complicated to install? Just because the guy who made my computer put some LED lights in and some of them are glued onto the PSU.

Thanks again

You could even just take pics of the connectors in your pc just now and refere to then when installing the new one :) and if you come across anything just post here ;)

Isnt that hard tbh, but i'm assuming there cold cathode tubes.? if there glued to the psu i doubt you will be able to get them off without breaking them.

Yeah they have litttle tubes kinda like spot lights, they have a little stand on them. Im pretty sure i'll get them off, its just reconnecting them up i havent a clue about!

Okay, pastymuncher. Could you suggest one which is?

Are you sure your not reading the 230v sticker on your PSU as the wattage. the number is suspiciously identical. the wattage of a PSU is rarely written on the back, its more likely to be on a sticker on the side, do you have a model number or anything?

No not a good choice for SLI with modern cards. The problem with this "Certified for SLI" badge, is that it came out when the 6800 ULTRA was a monster GPU. More recent GPUs require more than twice the power.

I wouldn't go SLI with a GTX2xx with less than 750W TBH, but it's more about the Ampage on the 12V rails.

@Wild ROFL You made my day there! :D

corsair asked for the silver rating because they couldnt hit the same numbers the review sample did. a VERY bold move on their part, but then thats just one of those things that sets them apart i guess :)
