Which psu?

What psu would you guys recommend to power this lot

DFI LanParty NF4 SLI-DR EXPERT
3800x2
2x 7900gtx
2gb corsair xms
2 dvd drives
1 floppy
2 HDDs
sb audigy 4

Currently have a hiper type r 580w but i'm not sure thats gonna be good enough?

The ones i've been looking at are:-

FSP Sparkle FX600-GLN Epsilon 600W ATX2.0 PSU (CA-002-SK)

Tagan TG580-U15 580W ATX2.01 Easycon SLi Compliant Modular Silent PSU (CA-009-TG)

Which one of them would be best or is there any others i should go for?

Price: £59.95 (£70.44 Including VAT at 17.5%)

I would go for that one or else the FSP Sparkle, although i am pretty sure your hiper PSU will power that system.

Your hiper should be able to power the system fine

I didn't think a 500w psu could power 2 7900gtx's?

It would power two 7900GTX's fine, probably better than the hiper. I have one of these PSU's and it is excellent all the rails are rock solid.

Was thinking of one of these but there has been lots of problems with them and the dfi expert mobo.

Think I might keep the hiper and test it out but looking on http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone2_build.html#certified_powersupplies its not recommended for dual 7900gtx.

Anyone else tried this?

Tough call, both very good. I guess you could base your decision on whether you want a modular PSU or not. The FSP one is not modular, Tagan is. But you can't go wrong with either of them. Still cant decide? Heads FSP, tails Tagan - flip a coin.
