Which PSU?

Ordering a 4850 512MB and monitor later on today, i currently have a Jeantech 500W (i think) PSU that i bought from *EVIL*... long story Anyway, do i need a new one? Ive never heard of the brand before so not 100% convinved i can trust it.

I currently have a low spec AMD dual core but will upgrade to a more recent DDR2/dual core next month. It has to power this and the 4850, budget is flexibile as at the end of the day ill have to pay what i have to pay.

ps. the 4850 512MB is fine for 1680*1050 in cod4 and the like yes?

you're not allowed to name competitors

have a look at the corsair range. go with either 620W modular or 650W depending on budget.

Crosair hx520 should handle it, although you could go for the hx620 for future upgrades.

Coasair are very quiet and well made, have two HX620s, and can’t fault them.

You don't need much of a PSU for that, I'd suggest a Corsair VX450 because you don't get many decent PSU's that provide less power.
