I'm currently using an HX620 but dont think its gonna have the guts for my new card. Any recomendations?

Running a qx9650 (4ghz+) and a 4870x2

The corsair PSU should be enough, I checked my overclocked i7 system with a 4870X2 and this pulls 530w full load from the mains.

Thats interesting.

I did one of them calculator tests and it said i needed 604w for everything im running so thought it may overwork the hx620

I dont think im gonna take a risk, I appreciate corsair are very good quality and its done me very well but the xfx site says i need 650W and i think with everything in here(not a basic rig), i may struggle but thanks for the input.

Anyway, im thinking of going for this before the stocks gone, i like the idea of the heatsinks as silence is everything to me but is it a good choice?

The TX isnt modular though? and while im splashing out i may aswell go as future proof as possible and get 1kw?

Although this hx has been good, it is the only noise i can hear from the unit hence thinking about the zalman as im guessing that will be near silent with the heat pipes
