Hi,

After a new PSU to power my rig, rough spec is:

Core i7 930 @ 3.2
6GB Patriot DDR 3 RAM
ATI 5770
7 x sata HDD
8 x cooling fans
Gigabyte ud3r motherboard
2 x optical drives
more bits to come

Was going to go for a 850w with a 5 year warranty as a bit of future proofing.

Narrowed it down to 3, any comments advise welcomed.

The corsair TX is okay. The XFX Pro Core is actually very good as well, both have good reviews, low ripple and are about the same. the brand and warranty/support corsair is better every time. But does it justify the bump in price?

Whilst the Coolermaster is modular, I'm very wary of any psu made by coolermaster as most i've used have been very poor in more than 1 department. (applies to their new gold series too).

the antec in post 2 is very good, and if you want modular that one's def one of the best choices. If budget is a problem thus non-modular, there's nothing wrong with going with the XFX.

A good make 850w psu is for two GTX480/580 in SLI

actually the GTX580 use a lot less power than the older GTX480, so could get away with a 750w psu for them.

I've installed a XFX before and I did quite like it, not overally fused about modular - I've got a big case to hide all the cables. Thermaltake Shark

Coolermaster seemed good but have read a few review that say can get noisy when the heat gets up.

Prob never go dual gpu, only higher CPU, more Hdd's and loads more cooling; For the price thought, not much more then 750w unless you think I can get away with lower and save some $$$
