Which psu?

Hey fella's

Which psu is the better buy for very similar money?

Ocz Fatal1ty 750w or antec 650w trupower?

Also are they both semi modular?

It will be running an i5 2500k with 4gb ram and either a 560 or 6950 gpu (can't decide which)

the antec, they good great PSU's that will last you a long time

i've got the Antec. No complaints here. Very Quiet. Not sure 650 would be enough if you ever wanted to SLI a 560
The Antec is semi-modular.

The Antec gets good votes on here, also the XFX psu.

The Antec has had great reviews. It also has a 5 year warranty compared to the 3 years on the OCZ.

small derail here all though still on topic, what is the difference if it is semi modular or not ? I guess there must be full modular if there is semi ? is it do do with how the power is fed to the 12v / 5v rails ? I am confused

To do with if all cables detach from psu or not. Modular = all cables release.
Semi= all apart from the basic requirements.

semi modular has some cables hard-wired, such as power, sata and PCI-E, whilst the other cables are included in the box to be used if you need them, to save space and clutter

A fully modular has no cables hard-wired so you connect them all as you need them.
