I have just upgraded my gpu to a 7970 and im getting more concerned my psu is not up to it (old hyper 525w)
Basic build is amd x 6 @ 3.8
8gb ddr (grey)
H50 cooler
xfx 7970
2 x hdd
1x dvd
4 x 120mm fans and 1 x 200mm fan
The 7970 had 8 pin and 6 pin connections
need at least 4 sata connectors and a few molex as well
And enough headroom to push my chip and gpu further and another hdd and new fans
