I have an Ibanez RG421 (its basically the better version of the 321, its got Ibanez V7 / V8 pickups and shinier hardware - i bought it from the states like 5 years ago)
Now, I'm wondering how much cop the V7/V8 pickups generally are, I used to have EMG 81/85s then swapped for a SD Distortion / SD Jazz Neck set in my Ibanez destroyer.
just to reiterate - these are NOT powersound pickups!
Im not really interested in active pickups, but I mostly play rock and metal music, with the occasional detune to C. I use .10 - .52 strings.
I'm happy with my neck pickup, so what bridge humbucker would people recommend? (obv no DiMarzio evos!) and i'm handy with a soldering iron
