Aluminium does not magically cause more corrosion than other metals, its based on how dissimilar the metals are, and silver is just as dissimilar to the solder/flux used on a rad as aluminium is to copper, hence why corrosion inhibitor is required for the long term health of the loop (note: with a decent corrosion inhibitor alu and brass/copper will get along fine too, despite all the 8th hand horror stories).

is ain't that another reason to use a silver coil to stop the corrosion between metals in liquid .don't boats oil rigs use the same sort off thing to stop sea water eating them by using zink or am i way off the mark ,we know silver a antibacterial and is it used for the above with out us knowing,the sacrificial metal
